Steven Hahn is a professor of history at New York University. Eric Foner, DeWitt Clinton Professor Emeritus of History at Columbia University, is one of only two individuals to serve as president of these three major historical organizations: the American Historical Association, Organization of American Historians and Society of American Historians.
